Bowling |
All bowling will be done from on end only. Max 8 ball over for U11/U12/U13 and 6 legal ball over for U14/U15 years. No spell must be more than 2 Overs Minimum 10 overs for each team will constitute a match and both teams must have the opportunity to face these overs. The maximum number of overs that any one bowler is allowed to bowl is 4 overs. No balls & wides are as per the MCC Laws (no Automatic legside wides). No Free Hits 16 Meter Pitch for Under 11's. 18Meter Pitch for U12 and U13 Full Length Pitch for U14 and Up. |
Fielding |
No fielder to field within 10m of the striking batsman. Coaches can assist in the fielding set up for any age U11 to U15. Fielding Restrictions: No more than 5 fielders allowed on the onside (legside) Overs 1-6, only 2 players are allowed outside the inner 25 meter ring. Overs 7-20 only 5 players are allowed outside the inner 25 meter ring. Painted dots or flat discs to be used to mark the 25-metre inner ring. Boundaries: Under 12 and 13: 40 meters minimum – 45 meters maximum. Under 14: 45 meters minimum, 50 meters max boundaries. Under 12/13/14 – Maximum 11 Fielders allowed. |
Equipment |
FLCA will supply Tournament T-Shirts and Match Balls. Teams to use their own boundary marking cones and stumps for their games. All relevant equipment must be worn by batsmen and the wicket keeper. Helmets to be worn at all times while batting and wicket keeping. Pads, Gloves and Abdomen protector must be worn while batting. |
Time | A total of 180 Minutes will be allotted to complete both innings including 10 Minute Change of Innings. Every innings must end within this time i.e. 90 minutes. If the bowling side bowls less than 20 overs in this allotted time, then they will face the same number of overs. |
Time lost and adjusting overs | Every 4 minutes lost constitutes one over lost. The Umpires to their discretion will adjust the overs if time is lost due to bad weather. |

Result |
The team that scores more after the allotted overs will be declared winners, If the game overs are adjusted due to rain, the run rate will decide the match. If the Run rate is equal, the winner is the team with the least number of wickets lost. If conditions prevent either side from facing 20 overs, the winner will be decided on Run rate provided both teams have faced a minimum 10 overs. If the Run rate is equal, the winner is the team with the least number of wickets lost. If a match is played to reduced overs and the scores are tied at the end of these reduced overs a Super Over (as per below) will be played to obtain a result. Super Over: If both teams have batted 20 overs & the scores are tied, the winner will be decided by a super over. In the Super Over, the team which had just batted second will bat first in the super over. They will face one over. There is no limit on wickets in Super Over. The team with the highest amount of runs in the Super Over wins the match. If the Super Over is tied, there will be another super over. |
Dispute | Once the umpires have decided the game, no disputes will be entertained. If you still have a grievance, the matter will be communicated to our grievance community in writing on the same day. The decision of the committee will be final. |
Duty of Care | Coaches and Managers must exercise duty of care at all times. The safety of all players is paramount at all times. |
Player, Coach, Manager and Player Conduct |
The umpire’s decision is final. Players must display good behaviour, respect and sporting spirit at all times towards each other and Umpires. Parents, Coaches and Managers are all bound with these conduct rules and must display good behaviour and be role models for others. There is no room or excuse for bad behaviour. Umpires reserve the right to give 5 penalty runs for poor behaviour or ask a player or coach/manager to leave the filed if necessary. |
